Thickness of pole for eventual motor setup

Hi guys

As I understand it I'll need to get a dish bracket which will take the dish away from the wall. There are all sorts of brackets available and at different thicknesses. Will a 35mm thick pole be sufficient to hold an 80cm dish with motor or should it be 45mm?

Motor brackets in my opinion need 45-50mm
