Stupid Question....how to delete old media from Tm800hd

hi

i know this is probably a stupid question and i am missing something really simple but i am having a small problem deleting old recordings off my hdd........ can anyone help with this as i would be really grateful!

Not a stupid question at all.
Should be able to delete through remote. Im pretty sure one of the buttons is delete. If that does not work, ftp in and delete.

highlight the programme using the remote, then press menu, scroll down to delete, and press OK to confirm. the programme will be moved to the 'deleted items' location for 7 days, before being erased for good. if you need to free up the space, you can go into the deleted items folder, and do the same again (menu, delete, ok) and itll be completley erased
