   [*]Additional Base Map loader facility
   The service pack includes a Base Map download facility that will automatically install to the desktop PC. Base Maps contained on the map CD can be downloaded to the device via the Base Map installer application. Launch the application by clicking on the new desktop Base Map installer icon.
   [*]Auto night/day mode set for mini-map
   If the calculation for IsNight() fails it will now use the result of the last good calculation performed for map screens.
   [*]Map loading problems rectified
   Background map checks and now started only if "scanmaps.dat" has been used.
   [*]Updated Swedish string file to correct translation for 'My Home'
   The home in My Home should be "Hem" not Hemme in Swedish
   [*]Zoom level is now consistent in 2D map when previewing a parking/fuel POI
   The nearest fuel/parking screens now remember the user's current map zoom level and revert back to that level if the user returns to the map screen via the ESC key.
   [*]'OK' button on Low Battery pop-up
   'OK' button on Low Battery pop-up can now be clicked to close the battery warning message.
   [*]Cursor position when canceling a route corrected
   When a route is cancelled, the cursor focus is set to "Go To" button (top of the Main Menu).
   [*]Next Turn instructions immediately update
   Turn info added to immediately update on window entry (same as 2D and 3D screens) of 'Next Turn' map screen when there is an active route.
   [*]Corrected Text overflow
   Text lengths are now checked for both Top and Bottom bars and, if necessary, truncated and ellipsis added before screen output Uppermost direction bar, 3D Nav view.
   [*]Menu, next page and ESC key
   Menu, next page and ESC keys now work on all screens when a route is terminated from next turn or next 5 turn screen.
   [*]Recent Destination automatically added
   Recent Destination is no longer added automatically at start-up without routing, the initial location is not saved into the 'recent' list.
   [*]Corrected "POI activation settings"
   Screen now displays Active POI options for only Custom POI files with Active POI settings loaded from the .ini file. If opening one .ini file fails the device continues to read the other .ini files.
   [*]U-turn mode instruction text and intersection pictorials now match
   All map screens now consistently display the 'U-turn' instruction text and associated pictorial.
   [*]Consistent Traffic Screen flow
   Tapping on the traffic icon in any map window now returns either the traffic event list screen or the TMC status screen. The former is shown if the traffic system is receiving TMC messages; the later is shown if the traffic system is not receiving TMC messages.[/FONT]
