Server timed out

Right thought I best put this in a different thread so I can keep track of any ideas you have.

Problem is I have my networked pc upstairs, I can get internet, e-mail,msn ect but cannot log onto medal of honour, for this I have to trundle downstairs and play on this machine.

Anyways I have checked the firewalls ect, even disabled them before trying so I don't think it's them.

I just formatted the one upstairs and reinstalled gamespy ect.... game spy did say something about me no being able to host a game on that machine because the internal ip was different to the external one, what ever that means....

Just tried hosting a game myself and the machine upstairs connected to my ip no problem, this does not make sense to me but does it shed any light for you lot.....

Anyone got any ideas on this ? Served a game last night myself and both machines where on np.

i think with gamespy you have to sign with 2 diff names .i think you would have to join gamespy on each machine but with diff names
