Ok, think this thread is getting out of hand as usual.
I have eaten dog whilst in Thailand, and for the record it tasted nice. I have also eaten crickets and all other manner of things, and tbh I would eat it again without thinking about it.
Whilst in Japan I ate several weird and wonderful things raw, including Bream, octopus, sea urchin, prawns, squid and stuff I dont eve know what they were.
Different people eat different things, and we cannot criticise another culture because we dont eat it. Thats terribly hypocritical of us if we do, Muslims dont eat pigs yet we do, some dont eat cows as they are sacred.
We are top of the food chain, food is food to me, I will eat the majority of things, using the stupid argument it was bred for that reason is well just stupid. Its only bred for food, because people like to eat it, not because of any other reason. The only thing I would be uncomfortable eating is bush meat, simply because it is dangerous to eat. Otherwise I would try it once to see if I like it.
