Mobile Phones Samsung Galaxy ace battery probs

Hey guys.
I'm trying to repair a galaxy ace.
When I plug the charger in the phone reports no charge and starts charging , it gets to 100% and beeps.
I take it off charge , the phone turns on , but dies after about 5 mins. I try and turn it back on and the no charge symbol appears. I plug the charger back and pull it out within 10 seconds , I then press the power button and the starts showing 100% battery..
Please help guys it's doin my head in.

Seems to be lot having issues with battery charge/life.
Some stating after rom/kernel flash they get worse.

have you had a new battery to try or how old is your phone can you get it sent off to see if they can fix ?? I have this phone and had to get new battery to get it to work right

I've had one for 16 months now and the battery is woeful and always has been. and thats with everything but the phone function switched off!
I have bought two higher capacity batteries off of E?ay.
I've found the blue 2450mah have good life, though the gold 2500mha not so much.

my guess on your problem?
the battery is broke, replacing it will fix the problem.
even a new standard battery will probably fix you woes.
