Agreed, I should have stated clearer that the settings are for a start and you need to tweak them a bit for personal taste.
I prefer the sharpness up a bit on the panas as I find them a bit soft in the central setting. Contrast can be rammed up for the first 3 - 400 hours as the panel settles in and can be reduced to 75% then a bit more year on year as the phosphor ages.
The brightness also may be a bit low and lossy on background detail.
Ratts if you want to mess with the pro settings insead of panas warm pallette then you can start by turning the blue cutoff down a few notches as there is 30% more blue phospher in the panel because blue decays at a faster rate than red or green. I am messing with a 46g20 at work to get an idea of how the panel responds to these settings.
