Cydine could do with some advice mate please...

Been trying to get this done for my mate today. but got nowhere slowly.

Followed This Guide and This Guide but no joy off either. Pretty sure I/we followed the guide, but it's the beginning part of the tut that's stopping any progress.

The firmware update/change just isn't happening, and I'm not sure why...? It always says no update, firmware failed etc. Until that bit is done, I can't proceed any further with Twonky....

I did try putty to see if it did work, (even though it said it didn't) but got no joy from that either. Put the ip into Putty, but all password combinations bought no joy what so ever...

Any ideas welcome, please...!

Yeah I had thanks mate, got it sorted now though, t'was a PEBCAK problem...! Got it sorted though in the end...!
