Well drooped them last week and they have snapped was well gutted as i use them all the time

So thought i will try to fix them

Had to order Trox Star Head Security Bit Tip Set from Ebay

Used some plastic from the top of my deodorant as it's quite strong

Drilled a hole and cut a little space to i could force it round the connector and placed it between the washer and spring clip

Come out good i thought , so have made this thread if anyone has broke there headset as it's quite a common thing to brake

I tried fixing some razer ones a couple of years ago and the wires are so thin that they just use varnish as the sheilding. I soon found burning the varnish off was the way to soldering them. Eventually i gave up as it was that difficult.
 
Heres a little soldering job I've done at work soldering a jack plug. Finger shows how small they are.

Yip i looked at the wiring and thought fook that so made a split on the plastic i had made and forced it over the housing :)
