Any suggestions for a good hardware media player?

A few things I need.

Not bothered about which software/os is installed.

My current player is linux based (I think) but is a couple of years old and the codecs are not updateable and it wont play H265. I would like the new one to be future proof.

The new box must be able to take a 3.5" sata hard drive, plus USB for external hard drives.
Be able to play full 1080p HD with a good bitrate for handling large Blu-Ray rips etc.
Be able to play DVD and Blu-Ray ISO's preferably with menu's (the box I have now can do this) also 3d playback capable from 3d Blu-Ray's or SBS MKV's etc.
Be internet connected and also IPTV, youtube, iplayer, 4od etc.
Hard wired network port.
DLNA capable.
I would prefer a proper remote control rather than a tiny keyboard/touchpad.
Also would like it to be controled by windows 10 app and android app (my current player has both of these).
Not bothered about a nice looking graphical front end but if the only way to get the best playback and codec support is XBMC/KODI on an Android OS then so be it.

Any suggestions welcomed.
