Celtic manager Neil Lennon faces a further wait to discover the outcome of his appeal against a touchline ban.

The harsh winter weather has forced the Scottish Football Association to cancel the planned Tuesday hearing.

No new date has yet been set for the meeting and Lennon will remain free to take his place in the dugout.

Lennon incurred an automatic two-match suspension after being sent to the stand during his side's 2-0 defeat at Hearts on 10 November.

Referee Craig Thomson dismissed Lennon for his protests after his side were not awarded a penalty for a handball offence.

Thomson's report led to a separate excessive misconduct conduct charge, which could see the touchline ban extended.

Once sent off, Lennon appeared to exchange a few heated words with the fourth official, Steven McLean.

The manager said immediately after the loss in Edinburgh that he could not understand why he had been ordered to leave pitch-side
