I would wait until the manufacturer comes up with something better than the FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit) interconnect and the UP FPC connector in particular.
Looking aroung the 'net I see people are installing these without the FPC and wiring directly, this would be a better solution.
I have one in progress at the moment, it won't work when assembled due to pressure on the UP connector causing bad contact, I've had it to pieces countless times, I even remember where the four or five different types of screw go!
If I can't get the connector stable by gluing which may be risky I'm going to wire it directly using the FPC pads as points to solder to after cutting it.
