Software HELP - Can not get additional email on Thunderbird via Virgin !!!!

Hi All

I already have 2 email accounts on virgin seerver and been trying to add a third BUT getting errors ALL the time, i set it up on Vigin as normal, pop3, email addy, smptc etc.....

When i then try to add it to thunderbird i keep getting errors like wrong password OR if i try to send to it from another email it get bounced back....

Anyone help as it's driving me fooking nuts...lol

Have you logged into VM with your primary account to add the new (alias?) account?
 
Yes, that is the only way it will allow me to add an extra account.
 
Anyone out there can help me please, i need to create a new account as i'm getting spammed to fook on current oone, even with filters Thunderbird on its driving me mad !!!!
I suppose it would require instant chat or teamviwer access etc....

I GIVE UP !!!!!!ARRGGHHHH
 
Oh and i've come across this whilst searching -

Now that VM have farmed out email to Google, Google are insisting that all customers now use SSL secure mail using ports 465 (smtp) and 995 (Pop3). Any device which doesn't allow SSL wont be able to connect directly to email platform.




account type: POP3 ---
Incoming : pop.ntlworld.com ---
Outgoing (SMTP) : smtp.ntlworld.com ---I knew this info already
