Work in IT here so sat at a desk most the day or standing in my garage working (since lockdown started). Prior to lock down I was walking around 6 miles each day on way to work and back. Once lockdown came that went out the window so I started up with the C25K program, first week of doing it I thought there is no way i'll be able to run 30 mins non stop at the end of the plan but I did
. Completed that plan and moved onto the C210K although did my first run tonight after almost 3 weeks off (due to a cold and Sinuisitus) which nearly killed me. I've gone from being able to run over 30 mins non stop a few weeks back to struggling to keep running for any longer than 5 minutes tonight.
Throughout lockdown i've mostly kept to running 3 times a week and usually on my lunch break just so I get away from the computer for a while and get out of the house for exercise and a break from the missus too
Must admit the first few weeks were agony but gets much easier and I have found i'm much happier in myself from it.
Food wise, I have found i tend to eat better main meals since lockdown but a little more junk food which is what i struggle to cut out. I'm not overweight yet, but starting to get a bit of a belly on me which i'd like to get rid of.
