if i use this will i be able to put large files onto it, say an mkv file which is more than 4gig. as far as i know FAT32 only takes files smaller than 4gig.

hi guys im having problems backing up my ps3 files so i can change the harddrive. i have a 40gb portable drive which i have used swissknife to format it to fat32 to back up the files but ps3 doesnt recognise it. any help would be much appreciated
ive got the old 40gb ps3 which is almost full have an 80gb drive that i want to change it to. but just cant get my 40gb portable drive to be recognised in the ps3
