im aware that only certain file types can be uploaded to the forum. but is it possible to add the format that ps3 themes come in, which is .p3t

dont know how much work this is, or if its even possible, but i thought i would ask anyway.

the reason being, is that if they could be added, then it would be possible to download and install them straight from DW. if people log on to the site using their ps3 browser.

the ps3 will only download and install them automatically if they are in the proper format, and not in rar files.

it says the maximum file size is 19.5kb

this will need to be made alot bigger as some themes can be a few MBs in size

not really sure

say about 4-5mbs if possible. some themes have multiple images that change each time you turn on the ps3. so we could go for that size just now, if possible. and raise it or lower it later if need be.

didnt work

it downloaded it ok, but would only let me save it to an external storage device. it could not be installed from the site directly.

when it begins to download, it downloads it with an extension of .php and not .p3t, so the ps3 doesnt recognize it as a theme. why is that??

they download as the files and not from a php page (i am not 100% though)

the file type .p3t needs to be added to the download section also. it wont let me upload it just now

this is working now. so we can upload themes to here then other people can download them straight on to their ps3 from the ps3 browser.
