Dreambox 7025 scan returning 0 services

Ok, a sigh of relief today, I managed to get my 7025 hooked upto hotbird, and got FTA channels working, so now I know the dreambox itself is ok I can now concentrate on installing Gemini.

Shall I just go ahead now and do a base flash as I did with the enigma with a serial to serial cable and check the option for deleting enigma in dreamup?

Is this a safe method, will it cause any damage to the 7025?

How do I go about installing the files 'keys scce uk cable tested evocamd & mgcamd', I have this file, i've read scillians guide and just would like to know how to install it, as a compressed file or do I need to uncompress it and where exactly on the dreambox?
