Digital BBC in Ireland

I am a Sky subscriber in Ireland and am not authorised to recieve Channel 4,5 and BBC choice etc.I have ordered a subscriber card card from the BBC using a friends UK address.

My question :When the BBC card arrives can I simply plug it into the spare card slot to recieve the BBC channels without interfering with my existing Sky package.If I blow out the existing channels the family will kill me!! Appreciate any advice

If your already a subscriber you should recive the bbc channels but if not then the card will work, BUT you will only beable to view the bbc channels. to watch the sky channels you will have to put the other viewing card back in. try this go to find channels and type in 11,7196 H thats bbc 1, bbc 2 and bbc choice. i hope i helped.

To day my BBC card arrived.I now want to view BBC choice and my Sky package at the same time.Any ideas can I put my BBC card in the spare slot on the Digibox? Please advise if you can.
