Right the weather is holding up this weekend so i'm going to do the dreaded fine tune on my setup to get the best out of it but need someone to help refresh my memory.
I am currently finding that on some SATs like 9e/10e i am getting BERR.
My USAL settings seem to be off from my actual location for example (not my real figure ) if my LON is -0.977 i have to enter 1.677east to get some of the SATS, does this mean my setup is too far east? I can get THOR and other SATs with this setup.
What i was going to do was drive the motor to 0 degrees, loosen the motor and then manually move the motor west/east until i get bbc on THOR. Is that correct?
Or do i need to drive the motor to 1degrees and then manually move the motor?
Something is obviously off as i'm having to over compensate my LON get my dish to pick up some of the SATs. I'm going to regret doing this as it will end in tears and nothing will work LOL
BTW i'm using the technomate 9100
thanks
