hi - i thought this played every type of file..it doesnt play .wmv files and there are no codecs that i could download. Ive downloaded a movie in wmv format, windows media wont play it in windows 10..so whats the best player that play these types of files?.ta

I use VLC media player Plays most codecs with no codec packs needed - MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264, MKV, WebM, WMV, MP3

i used above all i get is a green flickering screen wen iplay the movie. ??

how big is the file, is it small enough to upload for others to try?

I think it possibly could be the file as it is a Windows media file to begin with and should play on windows okay. You could also try and convert it to another format....
