i am having problems in transferring the fix into one of the dbox's. i've done quite a few for freinds so i am aware how to do it, apart from this giving a bit of a problem. its a nokia with the old digitalworlz tx image by johnboy ver 2. i am using smart ftp to drag the file into the keys folder as usual but when u do it it says
[19:18:34] 227 Entering Passive Mode (192,168,2,103,99,75)
[19:18:34] Opening data connection to 192.168.2.103 Port: 25419
[19:18:34] LIST -aL
[19:18:34] 150 Here comes the directory listing.
[19:18:34] 2265 bytes transferred. (48.0 KB/s) (46 ms)
[19:18:35] 226 Directory send OK.
[19:18:35] Transfer failed. Use the Transfer Queue for automatic retries.

and i've tried changing the ip add and tried different ftp software like coreftp but no luck. any suggestions?
cheers

Check your windows firewall.

thanks for that mate, windows firewall is off, i just done another box yesterday with dons image and it went all fine. its just these 2 particular boxes with the same image. still no luck mate.

Looks like its Smart FTP

Hi

I also had these problems with Smart FTP. It only happened using that program so it might be worth trying different ftp software. Filezilla is pretty good

Hope this helps

Try putting another file somewhere else, i believe its because the image you are using is using the files already. Try disabling the roms one by one and once disabled this should allow you to overwrite them.

thanks for your help masterminds. it was a very old image which was write only, had to put new image in tmp folder and reflash, all sorted now. thanks again.
