Can someone please explain these things on OSDs?

Hi guys,

Can someone please explain what the bar graphs mean, on both the main OSD and the channel selection OSD (see circled bits on screengrabs below)? Also, what do the letters on the left side of the main OSD mean (again, circled in red)?

The one on the top left is the encryption type. viaaccess, irideto NDS etc.

Top right
The SNR level is the "Signal-To-Noise Ratio
AGC, is loosely deemed Automatic Gain Control
Also BER=(BitErrorRate).

Bottom image
That there is a bar showing how much of teh program has elapsed.
