Android Can i get ir control that i can rerogram to work tv and ir downlights?

I'm sure this is a long shot but my ir remote works perfect. If I added a new one could I get it to work on my ir led downlights. These work on ir and not bluetooj. Probably a long shot but worth and ask tia guys

There are "learning" remotes where you can send your codes from the original remote and assign keys to. Seems a bit "ye olde" now though when it's easier to control gadgets through Alexa

Basically what I'd like to do is have a tv remote for my android tv box that should also change the lights. Or would changing to different bulbs or something create what I want? Tia
