Under the handle there is a small chrome plastic cap remove that and the screw is there.

I can see a hexagon, so an Allen key should fit into it. It might be a security type grub screw and you may need a bit like this to fit it.
If you have some standard Allen keys, try them first.

Yes I've got a set of hex bits, trouble is they not long enough to reach inside the body to fit the hexagon bit..got Allen keys have to see if I got any smaller ones to fit..🤯

Yes just checked mine and it is 2.5 mm. you will need a standard Allen key or something like a set of these.

Definitely an Allen key. Put the plug in the sink before removing the screw, for obvious reasons.

@johnny bravo the set I posted is from Home bargains and wasn’t very expensive. The grub screw on my tap is 2.5 mmIMG_2997.jpeg

OK update managed to loosen the hex nut inside the tap..i had a small allen key set.now thought it would be straightforward to lift off the lever..but its stuck really tight..?
Do I lever it off? Seems like a ball and socket joint 🤔
