:Angryfire..My main pc is wired to the wireless router which is in the attic...no problems there,,,two laptops pick up the wireless signal around the house...no problems there...the pc i have downstairs connects to the wireless router vis a belkin n1 usb adaptor...every ten minutes or so it looses connection with the router...have to restrat pc and it then happens again...removed all antivirus, firewall, reformatted pc, changed the pc to a newer one, moved the location of the wireless router to one of the room on the first floor...uninstalled router software, reinstalled router software, changed channels, enabled , disabled all kinds of security on the router,,,still does the same...ive come to the conclusion that it could actually be the N1 USB ADAPTOR!....im gonna try a netgear usb adaptor and see if i still get the same problem...ive even restored the router to factory settings...no new firmware for router or usb is available,,,any help and advice please as its doing my head in....i will tell belkin that it could be faulty...ta
