'Allo 'Allo and Porridge actor Sam Kelly dies aged 70
Sam Kelly, the comedian, died after a long illness "bravely fought", his agent said

Sam Kelly, the British comedian best known for his roles in Porridge and ‘Allo ‘Allo!, has died at the age of 70.
The actor played ‘Bunny’ Warren in the 1970s prison sitcom and Captain Hans Geering, a German officer in first four series of ‘Allo ‘Allo!
He is believed to have been admitted to a hospice on Friday and died yesterday.
Kelly’s agent Lynda Ronan told the BBC he died peacefully after a long illness "bravely fought".
She said: "He does not leave any family but a host of friends who were his chosen family.

"His death is a great loss to them and the profession."
Born in Manchester, Kelly was originally a stage actor but went on to appear in television sitcoms throughout his career before returning to the theatre in a 2011 production of Mike Leigh’s Grief’.
He also appeared in On The Up, We'll Think Of Something and as the title character's husband in three series of the ITV comedy Barbara.
In recent years, he has appeared on the West End stage in the Wizard of Oz-inspired musical Wicked. His stint as the wizard ended due to ill health in January this year.
In one of his final tweets posted last month, Kelly wrote: "Not too well at the moment, but haven't gone anywhere. Not even Heaven."
Paying tribute to the late actor on Twitter, former Doctor Who Colin Baker said: "Cannot believe that lovely Sam Kelly has died. We were at drama school together - lovely, funny, talented chap. So sad."
