OK A WORD OF WARNING ABOUT UPDATING THESE BOXES USING A USB DEVICE WHEN YOU ARE FLASHING THE BOX DO NOT TOUCH THE REMOTE OR TAKE OUT THE USB DEVICE UNTIL THE BOX IS FINISHED AND THE BOX HAS REBOOTED FOR 30 SECONDS THEN TURN THE BOX OFF AT THE FRONT FIRST THEN AT THE BACK THEN TAKE THE USB DEVICE OUT ONLY THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE FECKING THERE BOXES BY BEING IMPATIENT AND UN PLUGING THE USB DEVICE HALF WAY THRU THE PROCESS JUST REMEMBER THE SUPPLIER CAN REFUSE TO TAKE THIS UNIT BACK OFF YOU AS IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT DO DAMAGE TO THE UNIT WHICH I AM NOW INFORMED IS ABLE TO BE DETECTED BY THE SUPPLIERS IF THIS HAS BEEN DONE AND YOUR SUPPLIER CHECKS IT YOUR WARRANTY COULD BE VOIDED SO YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED


PLEASE NOTE THIS IS FOR THE USB 2 VERSION ONLY

To load the files just drag them on to a memory stick formatted to fat32 in windows XP

and then with the box POWER turned OFF put the memory stick in the USB port at the back of the receiver.

Turn on and then press the menu button on the remote there you will see USB at the bottom of the screen.
Just highlight USB with the remote then you will see the (Box Super USB Bin file) appear on the screen.
Highlight the Box Super USB Bin File with the remote and press the ok button then you will see the file start loading in to the Box.
Do not touch the remote or the box for at least 30 seconds after the box has rebooted other wise you will end up with a dead box displaying 8882 on the display there is no way to recover this box after this happens you will have to send back to the supplier

After you have uploaded the software from your memory stick, turn the box POWER OFF again , and remove the stick

now turn it back on again as below


• Plug the box in to the TV using the usual scart lead.

• Turn on the box, press menu and go to installation,

• Select correct provider i.e. N**, C/W or TW ch***s

• Then automatic scan

• Once the channels are found, exit back to the blank screen

• Press menu (ignore what is on the screen) and press 1 5 7 0, this takes you to a secret menu,

• Go down to K*y CODE and turn it on.

• Now exit and wait for it to store all the data.

• That’s it, have fun

there are 4 seperate images depending on remote layout, it's easier than keep swapping neutrino's and cleaner.

The DigitalWorldZ Menu has been moved to the Blue button menu to keep in line with current dbox2 releases

We no long use /var/etc/init to start programs on bootup we now use /var/etc/init.d/start_neutrino the tuxbox standard
