250 not locking frequency

Hi all can someone pls help me here icant get my 250 to lock on frequency every time i push refesh on the infinite page it cahnges frequency can any one help me out here?

look like u wrong might be using the wrong annex mode which could resulted from selecting the wrong area if ur using the ambit tool, or u have poor signal

are you settings the correct DS frequency when you area when programming the modem!!!
Have you got valid mac's!! ( does it show allowed on the webpage)

ive just tried changing the bpi to false like dream unlocker suggested but it still wont lock on i know the mac & configs are ok as thats what i am using now any suggesting guys?
is there any way to reflash the modem without using a max232 cable cheers?

it dont need reflashing m8 use the ambit tool and select the 250 as ur modem and the correct area ur in ie: pure ntl, ex c&w or tw... and enter ur mac and tftp ip address and it should work

does ur ready light on the modem have any activity?
if not then it could be the tuner that has gone

Gentlex can u set the frequency manually in telnet if yes can u tell me the commands please

run hyperterminal and login using ur telnet username and password if u havent change them its admin as the username and infinite as the password and remember when typing the password u wont actually see the letters being typed but it is then press enter and it will start scaning... to stop the scan copy and paste this

cd \cm_hal
scan_stop
cd \

then press enter.. then go to Internet Explorer type this http://192.168.100.1 in the address page:

then login
username: Infinite
Password: SetValue

NOTE: Case Sensetive!!! Capital I,S and V in the username and password

then go to security tab and enter ur ds frequency and click apply.

and then Switch back in the Hyperterminal window. And copy and paste this command

tuner always 19
no signal( check ur feed and f-connectors, splitter for any faults) can also be the cause of progress unknown and not syncronized

just tried that gentlex both annex_b & 3 but it still wont lock on 2 a signal im using telnet to use the commands as i haven't got hyperterminal cause i am using vista is this ok?
