New box required?

Ive been running cloud ibox, first generation,im looking at a new box for the main room in the house, is there anything that can also play media via the usb? mkv's mp4 etc?,,,

The vu duo or vu solo2 are excellent boxes and would be a good next step to take imo. both have 2 tuners allowing you to record 1 channel and wach another simultaneously, both boxes have great support, add a hard drive and you can ftp files that you want to watch to it. I think they both play mkv files but not 100% sure
