SPDIF Sound output from Dreambox

I have been trying to get sound output from the SPDIF socket on the Dreambox to my surround sound system, without any luck.
I'm using the DW 1.6 image and have 'checked' the ac3 box in the settings.

Anyone tried this?

I havent tried optical out on this image but it works fine on the gemini images. Be aware tho that output is only in 2.0 as the cable co dont broadcast in 5.1.

Yip I have the digital output connected to my sub and outputs ok.
