Hi Guys
I am just after a bit of advice, yesterday i received emails saying my epic games password had been changed and i didnt request this so i checked it and it had so i managed to reset it and change it again.
Then i had my steam account password changed and my phone removed from it, i had a hell of a job getting this back as i dont really use steam but explained it all to steam and they sorted it for me and now i have an authenticator. It appears my Virgin email was hacked and this is how they were gaining access to all this as i saw all the password reset emails in there. Then i had an email from my own Virgin email saying i had been hacked and what email and even the password that was used and that they could record me on microphone and camera ect and if i wanted my stuff back i had to pay $400 to a crypto account.
Anyway i changed the email password and all was fine until this morning when they have again changed my password in epic games so i can only assume they have got into my Virgin email again? I have changed it again and contacted Virgin who were not that helpful and wanted to remote access my PC and run malware software and charge me for all this?
Has anyone had anything similar to this regards threatening emails and trying to gain access to your accounts?
Any ideas what best to do please?
