i can understand a little to be honest,there is several times i have been looking for a specific file from another site and have joined specifically for that reason desperate to solve a problem i have been working ages on.

I can agree with you there Chronoman, but then if the site I have gone to asked for a minimum number of posts, I then looked through posts about anything that I had knowledge of and then tried to give some advice on those threads, that way you can soon hit the minimum post limit and it shows that you are just not after something for nothing.

If you are clever enough to work out how to get on these forums then I am pretty sure you can contribute 5 decent posts surely?. If you want answers then try Google, don't pester the lives out of members of staff on here. 5 posts is nothing to contribute to on a forum of this size. Let's be sensible here everyone was born with some scale of knowledge use it or seek elsewhere for your quick fixes. Plain and simple.

i have posted 5 times & still can't download?

As alimac said...they have to be useful posts... i saw a guy this morning dig up posts from 2011 and just saying "thanks that helped"
it doesn't take long to clock 5 posts up that way...and then you will probably never see them again once they have there download, To be honest i think 5 useful posts is quite low and the forum admin is quite generous, but i don't make the rules. It doesn't take long to participate in the forum and make useful posts.
So hopefully your here for more than just a download and it will be good to see you join in the forum.
And of course....welcome to DW
