If you get a card through the letterbox saying "PDS Parcel Delivery Service failed to deliver", do not call the number on the card as this is a £15/ (Fifteen pounds) immediate charge. Instead, report the card on Royal Mail Fraud on 0207 239 6655.. although how much a minute these people charge is anyone's guess....

ICSTIS (The Premium Rate Services Regulator) on its website http://www.icstis.org/default.asp notes that, "the reference to £15 is an urban myth. It is not possible for a £15 charge to be made on connection." The number was shut down on 29th Dec.

Hmmm. Our local Neighbourhood watch gave me the info I posted and yes, I looked at Icstis and the number PDS use has been withdrawn. Best be vigilant with anything unsolicited, Thanks Narabdela
