800seV2 460MHz mod

It's possible to run your dm800seV2 at 460MHz instead of the default 400MHz.
All you need to do is move a resistor (R1818) from the bottom side of the mainboard to an empty resistor spot (R1819) at the top of the mainboard.

Please note, you need to have good soldering skills and preferable 2 small soldering irons to remove the resistor, of course smd soldering equipment would be ideal !
I am not responsible for any damage done to the Dreambox by this modification

so i believe

tempted to try it but need new irons etc lol

Well ill tell you what if i had a V2 i wouldnt be doing this anytime soon.

CPU's burn out on these soon enough. You'll notice very little is any difference tbh.

You have been warned :Doc:

I would bother myself tbh but its there for educational purposes, sometimes people like to tinker,it can make life interesting sometime :D

expensive door stopper lol

But Why the manufacturer didnt use this trick to speed up CPU during assembling the main board or it was easy for them control it in enigma as its coming in Spark Sh4 Enigma and Xp1000 Cloud Ibox 2 etc ?

Thanks, noted.

Post 2 says this is same for V1 models. the V1 would obviously benefit from memory.
