Outlook

Anyone else having problems with this new version of Outlook that's replaced Hotmail?

I'm finding it really buggy and slow, no matter what browser I try it in. :Angryfire

same here, takes ages to open.

I use it with Chrome but saw the same issues in Firefox. 'Sorry there seems to be a problem' regularly & a button to return to Outlook. PITA.

Yes, same here, takes ages to open emails.

I use it with Win7 / IE9 and seems to be pretty stable for me.

At home I use Windows Live Desktop Mail and that is pretty much like using outlook.

yep, im having problems with it too.... take ages to sign in and just as slow opening an email....

Use Mozilla Thunderbird, the settings are in Mozilla's ISP database so the only work you have to do is type in your e-mail addy and password after installing. Only POP though

I'm getting confused here, I thought we were talking about the new outlook.com website which has replaced hotmail/live.com

I didn't this was related to VM e-mail unless you linked your accounts.

It was OK but the last week has been playing up
as said, slow loading, takes ages when signing in etc

What do you need that POP3 doesn't provide?

A front-end issue I don't have with a POP3 connection?

dont know why they replaced windows hotmail and live, which where perfect...why fix it if its not broken...stupid microshite ###!!!LOL...however there is an option to use windows live/messenger until its fully retired in may 2014

I see this at least once a day, not impressed with it at all.

Tried accessing my Hotmail\live mail what ever its called these days from my phone - Chrome browser and it was slow and crappy. Turned on my desktop using IE as my browser all was fine. Thought it was just me but obviously not. Then I started to think if the problem was by design to cause issue for any other browser bar IE - but that's just the conspiracist in me
