iPhone dfu mode without power button?

hey all, i need to downgrade a 3gs but i cant at the mo as the power button dont work. is there away of getting it into dfu without the use of the power?

u might also be able to go into settings,general,acessability,theres an option near the bottom(sorry no phone here just now) that lets you bring up a home button on your screen u should be able to use that,my home button was knackered for ages that's what I used

its the power button thats broke not the home button mate but thanks anyway.
