USB port inside DM800?

Why is there a USB slot inside the DM800? :err:

is it not for the internal card reader?

It has 0 use.

Unless you use it to power something like an internal fan.

Sorry misread your post. I never noticed an internal usb port when opened my dm800.

@ Gav, It's not connected to anything mate, however it is situated below the card reader so you may be on to somethng.

I think it's there for an internal fan as well. Bloody well needs it as wel on my clone lol. It is too low to board to fit anything useful in it.

**** the card readers.

The port is beneath the card slot, I didn't measure the clearance, but I'm sure you'd find a usb WiFi to fit the space.

Thing is, are there any images designed to take the network via the usb slots?

All of them are.

I would be suprised though if the internal one works with wifi.

Think the drivers only allow the 2 rear usb slots to be used.

Are you kidding?

No mate. But if the Vu+ Duo idea falls through then I'll be buying another DM800 and installing the new Ferrari SIM and going from there.

My DM800 was AFAIK a rather unusual box, if I can get one with the same problems as everyone else I'll be very happy.
