Best would have to be either Kopparberg Pear Cider,or straight Ouzo :licka:

Worst is without a doubt Carling, especially room temperature.

My fave to guzzle on is pear Kopparberg too.

Worst is Harp lager. dear god its nasty.

sounds tasty, which retailers stock such a beverage, the Kopparberg that is?

wetherspoons do it and asda's sometimes have a case of 8 in with the beer deal.

But most supermarkets stock it in a case of 8.

There in every off license and supermarket here in dublin, but isnt every drink.

Worst would be Carling, is like trying to swallow gravel.

Best would have to be a pint of Cains bitter from the brewery pub. But also Timmermans Kriek (cherry beer), Wodsworth 6X and Waggle Dance (honey beer), Primator and Coopers pale ale...

i dont drink any more but the best i ever had was absinth bloody lovely worst is any type of wine or bitter ,just thinking of it makes me retch

Fek I cant stand that Kopperberg pear stuff, I bought a 6 bottles to try it and gave 5 away.

It has become very popular in East Belfast. A local team were playing in Uefa cup in Denmark and the supporters got the taste for it and asked for it to be stocked over here but I dont like it at all.

I prefer Magners/Bulmers.

I know, it tastes like medicen to me !!

As far as cider goes it has to be Aspel, Scrumpy Jack and Old English... Feck all this Magners and Bulmers - tastes nothing like cider...

All this fasionable cider like magners, bulmers, kopperburg etc is too sweet for me. Some of my favourite brews are Honeydew, Fursty Ferret, Marstons Strong Pale, London Pride.

Then again, its hard to beat a good single malt.

Deuchars IPA for me. Best IPA I have ever tasted, it was the first drink I had when I moved to Edinburgh :). The worst for me is Stella Artois - I think its worse than Carling, its like sucking a mouthful of 2p coins to me.

I also have to agree with the negative feelings towards Magners, Bulmers and Koppaberg. Its nice as a one off, but its not real cider. I had the misfortune of growing up in West Somerset, the spiritual home of cider, so all this poncey flavoured pish just doesnt do it for me.

worst would have to be special brew and super T....absolute dirt. Best would have to be the belgian stuff leffe blonde/brune

Another vote for Deuchar's. Best drunk in the Edinburgh area, not too far from the Caledonian Brewery.

Worst? British brewed lagers and alcopops.

Carling is right down there with Alcopops for tasting utter pish and I struggle with Becks for some reason!

I like Bulmers Cider, Strongbow and I've been blind drunk on Scrumpy Jack (In Somerset) :)

For lagers I mostly drink Stella Artois, nobody makes lager like the belgians. My brother in law lived in Leuven and used to bring me back a selection at Christmas.

Worst spirit on the planet is pernod! I can drink most spirits but like Gin & Tonic at the moment.

Scrumpy and Scrumpy Jack are two different drinks.

One is flavoured with rusty nails and bits of meat, the other is Scrumpy Jack, lol!!

lol, sounds like Scrumpy itself. Its a funny thing to drink, can be quite bitter/sour. Depends what place you get it from and what container they give you.

When I was a kid you could buy four litres of the stuff in a recycled plastic milk jug. Cost about a fiver.
