Just got my H5.2TC today, came with Openatv 6.0 installed. After a lot of faffing about I decided to reflash with this image because the other never had ABM installed.
Setup the tuners and ABM and started a scan which results every time with Tuning Failed Fatal error. Did a bruteforce scan and found 606 channels so guess I'm doing something wrong in ABM. Been years since I worked with cable, lol.

I can't understand what though as jfish appears to have practically set things up and only the netid and area provider need to be changed. Googled and found a couple of posts elsewhere from @Abu Baniaz concerning Lamedb files but never fully understood it.

not sure what version of ABM is on this image, may be an old one

try this attached ABM 2.8 latest

delete the folder

AutoBouquetsMaker in folder /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins

then unzip attached folder and copy to above folder

what area are you in ?

Thanks @jfish, it is 2.6 on the image. Been looking at ways of putting on 2.8 as I was getting an incompatibility message.
Will try this tomorrow mate, I'm sure it's all I need

Decided to try it and it's done the trick. Will get a test line tomorrow to try it out properly.
My area is Nuneaton @jfish. Had a look at the Sports bouquet and was surprised by this entry "Sky Matt Damon HD" :)

You are better off installing OpenATV 6.1. It will have the fix for renames. If a service reference already exists and the name changes, the name will stay the same.
