Whats the plugin your trying to install to work with the paid sub ?

Have you thought about asking your provider they would have instructions.

they did m8 but ive tried it and cant sort it out ! this is what they sent,Method 2)
Using a Enigma2 Plugin which can be accessed from your menu on your remote
This is installed using FILEZILLA on a desktop, transferring of folders and files.
Solution: Edit the XML file in etc/enigma2 and change the URL to the new address above. i went into etc/enigma2 but dont know the file to open to find the urlits got me baffled !

Hi imye
New to the forum here, so a big hi to everyone
I do not like the plugins for iptv, and I think the best way by far for enigma2 is to telnet the scripts to your box. That way you will get all the extra sections in your channel favourites and with full epg (if you have epg importer installed)
Putty is the best to use, and really makes it simple. If you wanted to do this route, ask the iptv supplier for the scripts for telnet :)
hope this helps

cheers xwexx its not mine its a friends im trying to sort for him! ill mention it to him tho cheers

Just make sure that when you open the scripts document they send you, it's opened in notepad++ or wordpad.
Notepad can mess it up :) If you get stuck drop me a pm and I will try to talk you through it.
Its really as easy as this:
Open putty in telnet session, and log into your box as root.
Open document sent (either of the ones mentioned above) and copy the full script.
Right click the blinking cursor in putty.
The script will run and install (if all ok and done correctly)
When its all ran its course in putty you should see the root command and blinking cursor waiting for a command. ( It may reboot if script has reboot as final input)
If it does not reboot automatically then type reboot in the command line and hit enter.
If all has worked ok, then in your favourites section of the channel list, you should see NEW iptv sections. Select a channel and try it ;)
