Idiots Guide?

I've been looking at a ZGemma Star 2S box on evilbay, but know nothing about them, and what to do if something goes wrong - the box I was looking at is the twin tuner model with 1 years 'Free Gift.'

Is there an idiots guide anywhere to updating/maintaining/setting up this box? I started off looking at the Openbox but the YouTube reviews pretty much slated it and recommended something like this - I'm quite I.T. savvy, but could still do with a guide rather than trying to read every post in the forum!

they are easy to setup m8, but the "gift" might let you down after the seller has his cash..

we can help with the setting up but can't discuss the procurement of "gifts"

Thanks - I'd like to go for it, but don't want to be stuck with a box that only gets FTA channels..... I guess there's 'places' to find out regarding the gift thing? I'd rather buy it without the gift, but then am left sitting looking at a box with not an idea what to do with it...... I'll do some research on here and 'tinternet before deciding - obviously not rocket science as plenty seem to do it.....

Brainfire, you wont be stuck with a box that just gets FTA channels, these boxes can do so much more... there are various apps that let you stream, from internet.. i would go for a H2S personally IMO as processor is faster and a lot more stable handling menus etc.. i run a H5 with slyk and VM connected and it runs almost flawlessly. never had an issue with these great boxes. there are Idiot guides as you say, and various images that can be loaded onto box..
