zgemma box softcam not actvatin

can any one help me my zgemma will not activate my line and cant get other channels

Did you try going into the Softcam Panel and restarting the cam?

First you need to determine whether your line is a c line or a n line.
So when you get your line or file (right click open with notepad)

If the line inside starts with "n:" or "CWS = " it's a n line if it starts with "C:" it's a c line.

I like to add lines through FTP. so download a client, Filezila is the most popular.

Go to Menu > Information > Network on your zgemma. *MAKE NOTE OF YOUR ZGEMMA IP*
Go to filezila,
Host: *ZGEMMA IP*
Username: root
Password: root
Port: 21

N Line

Navigate to usr/keys/ on Filezilla
right click newcamd.list View/Edit
Simply replace the "N:" in your line with "CWS = " like this:
CWS = vm.server.com 12000 user-10980 168248 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14


for a cable line, paste your line in the top line of the newcamd.list document
for a sat line paste your line in the bottom line of the newcamd.list document
save the file.

On your Zgemma, menu> setup > Softcam/CI > Softcam Manager > Select MGcamd then restart box.

C Line

Navigate to etc/ on Filezila
right click CCcam.cfg View/Edit
simply paste your c line in there in the same format, "C: ********************************* 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14"

On your Zgemma, menu> setup > Softcam/CI > Softcam Manager > Select CCcam then restart box

Would you not keep CWS alive @johnboymartin?
For 5 minutes?

IE.....

CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300
CWS = HOST PORT USER PASS 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

I thought his gift line was already in the zgemma.
My cam has stopped on me a few times, I just restart it and I'm up and running again.

Each 5 minutes or 300 seconds (hence CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300) your receiver sends a service command to the server, and the server sends response to the receiver.

if it's a C:line you need to FTP into box.
Get box IP address.
That can be found in setting of box.
Should look like (example)- 192.168.0.3

open FileZilla on your computer.
Host will be box IP address.
User will be "root"

no need for anything else then connect.

now your in box go to.....
-VAR
-ETC
-CCcam.cfg

right click on CCcam.cfg then edit it.
It will open up then type your line in and save.
It should look like this......

C: host port user pass

Make sure there's space after C: after host after port after user after password
you will not need des key as it's a C:line

if you are running openVIX press blue button then softcam manager.
Now CCcam 2.3.0 should have a green tick in it.
Then press yellow button to restart cam.

If all fails contact supplier of line.
