Is it worth updating firmware?

If it is doing all you want it to no. The updates in later images are no biggy

have tried online update but it just freezes I think it has a Vix image on it to be honest but don't know a lot about them.

if its got a vix image, you cant update from their feeds anymore.

tbh,
if your happy enough with it, leave it.

as soon as you flash another image, there will be something diffrent you don't like,
you'll spend ages tormenting yourself, checking your setting are same as last image lol

I have 2 of these 1 of the boxes I can get the new ITV Box Office the other I can't so I just tried to update the config files but it's now saying incompatible versions 2.4 > 2.5 that is the same on both boxes but I did update 1 of the boxes the other day?
