zgemma star 2s

Hi all new to the forum.
A question for all the experts out there, I have recently purchased the above and when a program is paused or recorded on the play back it sometimes pauses or pixelates before carrying on.
Anyone know the reason for this and a cure. I think the USB memory is a USB2 version does this need to be USB3 for the transfer rate.

Think you may have answered your own question it does sound like a bandwith issue or encryption issue.

Do you experiance the same problem recording a free channel ?

Yes same with all the chanels.
I have a USB3 stick, What do I need to do to use this, is it just a case of a FAT32 format and plug it in or does it need some other actions before it can be used as I beleive the EPG data is stored on there as well.

Fomat then mount it on the Zgemma through device manager.

only got usb2 ports on zgemmas so a usb3 stick won't make any difference

In other posts I have seen they clearly state it is a USB2 port but the USB2 stick still cannot deliver enough data where as the USB3 stick can.
