please i just got new zgemma h2s and need help flashing image

@maxso try wooshbuild v6 easy to do google it for the file and loads of good yuotube stuff on how install etc.plus you get the latest sky skin epg etc

Reflash it then

Download the image of you choice.

Unrar it and send the zgemma folder to the root of a usb stick

Power off your zgemma and put the usb stick into the rear usb port on the zgemma.

Power on and you should see the front screen show USB Then Flsh indicating the image is flashing.

Have tried this with three USB drives but on result.

Waiting for a new USB drive to be delivered, then will try again.

Make sure USB drive is FAT32 format, also make sure nothing else on on USB when trying to flash and only "one" port being used at any given time when flashing. Do not format it with windows. Format USB drive with bootice.

While it is known zgemma are fussy with USB drives im yet to be unable to flash zgemma with any USB after using bootice for formatting.

Also in the zgemma folder there maybe a file named noforce if there is rename it to force. If its already at force yeah try the new usb stick.

New USB arrived, still not working. The files I have in Zgemma as listed:- h3 comprising of force, imageversion, kernel.bin, roots.bin and splash.bin.
Are these correct, or should there be more?

Question for you are you able to flash any image or is it just this one that wont ?

Not tried any other images. Can I get back to original image ie:- as a new box?

Have you got a USB port on the front, by the card slot? (if there is a slot lol)

When you boot with USB inserted, what comes up on the display?

Try flash this openATV as a test to see if the box is taking images

dar1437, All is shows is boot then starts to count to 100 then loops round.

Definitely formatted USB to FAT32?

Its not seeing the usb or it is but it not seeing the folder.

So ive gone out of my way to find you a newer version openvix so try this

This is openvix 5.3

Make sure your following this to the letter

1. Format your USB stick with a FAT32 file system.
2. Unpack the ZIP file and place the content on a USB disk.
3. Plug the USB stick to the back panel USB port.
4. Power on,
5. Press the Power Key on the front panel after you see “USB”on the display. ...
6. When done the box will boot up on its own.
