I have a h2h with sucmnsee vix 4 software. I want to use the sxx section only at present. Connected up okay, Bouquets all loaded ok (28E), Using sxx blue skin ok, Configured Tuner A ok, Configured software cam MGccamd 1.38 activated ok, When selecting a sxx Channel the info Bar shows a good signal etc but will not open. Inserted n line into newcamd.list in usr/keys using filezilla software to transfer.
As you can gather i have been trying things for past 2 days. real headache, I would appreciate help from anyone if possible. Thanks.

I hope so. CWS(space)=(space)xxxxx.xxxx.xxx port user pw

Mine looks like this
CWS = server.com 2000 user123 password 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

Yes i have checked using edit in Keys folder/newcamd.list and it is the same format. I looks as though I have got something amiss with the main firmware vixopen or perhaps the skin settings !!!! but thanks for your interest.

can you copy your mg_cfg file may be a config issue here

add these lines to top of newcamd.list

CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300
CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 21000

This mg_cfg should work

Are you editing the newcamd.list file or mg_cfg file with a linux compatible text editor like Notepad++.

Once you have the files open, have a look at bottom right hand side of notepad++ and it will tell you whether it's Windows format, Unix format or old mac format. It should be Unix format.

Attached are files I used on my solo2 for $ky before moving to oscam...

Thanks jfish for your post. However in my case it did not work so back to square one. I think i will have to restart from scratch again, but before i do that, could it be the way i have configured the tuners on my box H2H.. I have enabled tuner A and restarted. As for tuner B it is configured as nothing connected it does not say disabled. Is this OK. (Using A for sky only at present).

It does not say anything at the bottom of my notepad. When I extracted your files I had to open with "my notepad" which is just off windows10. Does this mean i need to get a different Notepad++ program.

Notepad that comes with Windows is different than Notepad++.

Download, install and launch Notepad++ and then open your files from within Notepad++

You can download Notepad++ from here.

Still no joy.
I think i have wasted a lot of peoples time so i am giving up for now. (A rest might be good)
Try again the weekend so i may be back next week either smiling or crying !!!.
Thanks to all the members who have tried to help.

hey @Euroman7 you haven't wasted anybody's time a forum is just for this working out why and helping you as it will help others that have the same problems, all the guys on here will help you if they can, with out asking for anything in return :) so keep at it the answer will come eventually, I have just got my self the H2S which took a bit of getting my head round and I don't think I have quite right but reading and doing get it done in the end asking questions getting answer something will come together, TBH i put my line in everything (cccam.cfg- newcamd.list) and then put them in all the folders mentioned etc/ - usr/keys so there are 3 files in here (CCcam.cfg-newcamd.list-mg_cfg) i know now that i don't need to do this but i did, started the softcam cccam and the MGccamd 1.38 sure enough worked Bingo!!!!! probably get shot to bits like but hey learning curve, so keep at it it will come to you all of a sudden or someone will give you the what you need :)

Good luck

I am back and Smiling. Thanks Focus and all the guys for their encouragement. I have learn't a lot about satellite receivers during these past few days. Still a lot more to learn yet.!!!
Anyway, back to my Zgemma H2H. I now got it working but not sure how exactly. I start again getting my lines to work and did 5 things.
1. deleted all my previous mg_config files and newcam.list files from my pc and my Box using FireZilla.
2. Changed my resolution setting to automatic (Menu/Setup/System/AV settings/Automatic-all resolutions)
3. Transfered my mg_cfg files to eur/keys folder using Firezilla.
4. Made a NEW newcam.list file and entered my line CWS = serverdetails port username pw. the other MOST UNUSUAL EXTRA LINE I ADDED was to enter my line again a second time but with a # sign in front. ie # CWS = serverdetails etc. I was given this idea by an item I read on the Forum can't remember which.
Whether adding the # helped i don't know.
5 Rebooted the Box and restarted the mgcamd.1.38 and it worked.(BlueButton/softcam manager).

Flashed my Zgemma with the latest openvix firmware thinking it was gonna be great but the mg_cfg isn't there! This is my first time on here so i need 5 posts to download the mg_cfg here. Will do it soon, thanks to the uploader
