Hi.

I have recently been testing the Zgemma LC for Virgin & I am pretty happy with it.

It's a single tuner for Virgin UK & works perfectly.

It's the equivalent of the Zgemma S for satellite.

For me, if you only have a cable feed coming in & no dish, this is perfect for that set up & cheap to buy.

Anyone else used the LC or have any views on it.

not used one but i believe its based on the older series H1,S2chipset with single core 751mhz whereas the newer H.S,H.2S,H.2H run a dual hyperthreading 751mhz core and different chipset which are way faster

They probably use the Samsung 101A tuner in the LC which was initially in the Zgemma H1 model which is far superior to the H2's Samsung 109A type

Hi. If anyone can help im having huge problems with my zgemma star lc setting it up.
Everything is connected correctly and have the tiner set up to my local area with correct provider code etc. When i perform auto boquets scan i get every channel. Perfect. However the channels are not coming on when i choose the channel only fta channels. I have checked my mgcamd line is working fully and have restarted the mgcamd plugin in softcam manager and still getting nothing. Any help is apreciated

There are 2 cams on the zgemma LC , have you made sure that mgcamd has a green tick by it ?? Also, have you plugged your usb stick in the rear usb to save your epg settings ??

Yeah mgcamd was tocked and restarted.
Ive just put a cccam file in and works perfectly i think the plug in for mgcamd must not be working proeprely.
Newcamd.list was in usr/keys too so god knows

Just a thought, your line needs to go in var/keys/newcamd

for mgcamd your line must start CWS

If you wish to test the line in cccam just edit your line by removing the CWS and replace it with an N then enter that line in CCcam.cfg and change your cam to CCcam

It should be in var/keys/newcamd if you are using mgcamd.

So moved the line the var/keys... nothing
Coppied the line into cccam and changed to N: and still nothing. But on my panel it shows the line as working but idle i just dont get it

Well the line definately goes to var/keys/newcamd , I would suggest that the line is dead as there is no other answer. Although you did not say wether you have a USB Stick in the rear USB .

You are sure that the line is in var/keys/newcamd.list file as you keep saying var/keys. It has to go in newcamd.list
