Hi everyone :)

I done JTAG before on most the models of Cloud iBox and ZGEMMA but the new one which to me seams the same inside i cannot connect it to the BS 3 with the cypress board.

Just wonder if anyone had any luck fix the issue of red light on a new ZGEMMA H2S model.

Many thanks in advance for you help and tips

Hi pal can I just ask what's JTAG ?
I have the Zgemma H2S is this something that would improve it .
I do remember JTAG from years ago with the Xbox 360 :)

Basically you only jtag if your boot loader is corrupt if your box works it does not need jtag.
@BrunoJ Ive not seen a method out there for the h2s yet and i dont have that model to have a go.

Hi Ferret,

I JTAG the Cloud iBox and the ZGEMMA without any problems but this new model do not connect to the BS3 . I check the cypress board and works fine maybe the chip change ?

Keeps saying disconnected and for sure is not the wrong chip but the connection still the same location. Any ideas ?

Much appreciated for your reply.

All the best

It will need to use a different chipset driver though so if that is not available then your going to get no where.

I have try the BCM97358, BCM97346 and BCM97335 and nothing happen still saying disconnect and i am sure the cypress board is working fine because i tested on a Gemma 2S and H1 and all fine.

Seams to me will be a hard find for this model!

Do you think you be able to do it if i send the box to you ? I don't mind pay for return ! At least will help the forum and other users ?

I dont offer any services i help people do it themselves.

You can not do anything without the chipset driver those you have tried are for other model not the h2s.

Maybe someone has dumped the bios chip on this and can reprogram it externally.

Check out ebay lots offer this service for older models maybe one of them can do the h2s

No sorry i didn't had time to do it. is a bloke on eBay NorfolkSR they do it for a small fee.

Looking for the same thing, if anyone has it please.
I have found Broadband Studio 3 and BCM 97632 as well as a few others thanks to Ferret for his tut on the Cloud boxes  but having followed the tut by loading BBS 3 on WinXP then plugging in the Cypress USB board it does not find or load any drivers so shows as "disconnected" when its all hooked up to the zgemma h2. I have tried and tried, even read another tut in Italian that said to use the "unistdriver" included in Ferrets files but still no joy. Can anybody shed light on the prob as I have learnt as much as I can but need a little help. :silly:

Never had this issue mate.

As i said via PM reinstall the last XP sp3 i think it was and try again.

Thanks for the reply and PM Ferret, I followed the PM and D/Loaded windowsxp-kb936929-sp3-x86-debug-enu installed it and same issue, the Cypress Board shows as a Cypress Board and not as it should as a Broadcom Adapter Board. I really have tried.

Single or dual jumper version ?

If single did you remove the correct jumper

Single Jumper version and yes I removed it first. The only thing that seems to be stopping me is the driver for the Cypress Board ....it just doesnt load when I plug in the usb and apply the power. If I check in "Hardware" it shows as a Cypress FLxxx not as a BroadCom Adapter Board so I am stumped for now. Not giving up though as nothing is learnt by giving up.
