Zgemma s2 help please

Hi I have a zgemma s2 with hades 05 on . My box keeps deleting stuff off my hard drive like my recordings and epg data . Is there a setting that I might need to change ?? . I have tried 3 different hard drives and also re flashed the box but the problem Remains . Thanks for any help .

Never used that image, have you tried a different image?

No not used any other image other than openvix hades I would need a backup image as starting from scratch I don't think I could do .

scott i think it was digi that done a full back up of his 2s on open ata and ive used it its great full working epg

use this 1 full working epg i couldnt find the otherone this works fine though

I steer clear of vix images on the s2 tbh . I have found openpli 4 to work great and easy to customize to your needs. Hdd no probs epg no probs With Vix I had recording problems and cross epg was hit and miss.

weird ian i have this on my box in bedroom dont have any issues recording and epg always updates first thing

Vix? can you record 2 premium channels at the same time?

You can indeed, with any issues, I used vix on my duo but on my zgemma I'm using openatv

You can if they are on same transponder but if not you won't be able to watch another channel at the same time...you will need to cancel one of the recording to enable this..it's the same on any twin tuner any image and even the same on a sky+HD box

Really? I thought you could record 2 premium channels on the vu duo when I used it. I have sky and thought I can defo record 2 premium channels will have to test it out

I'm not saying you can not record two premium channels at the same time as you can but if the two channels are using different transponders then this uses both of the tuners A and B to be doing the two recordings...
If you wish to watch a third channel as long as it's on the same transponder as one of the channels your recording then no problem..if it's not then it's not possible as both tuners are tied up recording..

You can watch a recording no matter what..recordings have nothing to do with tuners.

I knew that mate but when I had vix on it would not let me record 2 premium channels. Not tried it again with a later vix and probably wont bother as im more than happy with pli
