movie streaming and YouTube problem?

Currently still using openvix but it seems I am unable to stream any videos regardless what plugin I use including TSMedia.

It buffers to 100% and the I simply get a black screen...

Any ideas what could be the issue?

ive not started to play with the streaming part of the box yet m8. what about trying a new image.? i put the openatv 5.0 on mines. seems to be working fine atm.

yes mate a common problem either reboot the reciever each time you want to watch a stream or go to plugins and download the cacheflush and set it to clear the cache every so often
